The Dragon Idol competition was introduced in 2007 as a prelude and companion event to the annual S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Walk with the Dragon to raise the awareness of the Walk and at the same time cultivate talents from the local communities.
This year the competition is concentrated on the vocal talent. TWO semi-finalists will be chosen as the finalists of the competition. ONE champion will be awarded the distinction of 2009 S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Dragon Idol.
